Sixteen- year- old girl called Hazel Grace Lancaster actually suffers from cancer and her mom thinks she suffers from depression because most of the time she reads the same book over and over again. Her mom decided to send her to Support Group to socialize. Hazel was forced to go Support Group and subsequently she falls in love with seventeen-year-old Augustus Waters who is an ex-basketball player and amputee. They finally got to know each other better when they spent time together at Amsterdam and finally got together when Augustus admitted he loved Hazel. They had a wonderful time until Augustus suffered from Cancer and left eight days after their trip to Amsterdam. Hazel cried for many many days but finally realized that it was time to move on but still thinking of Augustus. She realized that Augustus wrote a note to her before he departed. Hazel realized the power of love cannot be more powerful than anything
