Books to Go!

We had a 'Books 2 Go' programme held in our school library on Wed, 23 March 2016 and the Primary 1 girls enjoyed browsing through the wide selection of storybooks provided by the NLB and of course, they borrowed them too!

P4 Reading Ambassador Training during the March Holidays

During the March holidays, Ms Rafidah from NLB came to school to conduct a training for the P4 Reading Ambassadors who were just newly appointed by the school. They had an ice breaker session first where they introduced themselves plus talk about their favourite authors. Later on they learnt to make interactive boars which they were able to use to narrate a story. During the 2nd part of their training, they were grouped to make puppets out of foam. By using these foams, they were to create their own story and share with the rest of the group. The girls had a lot of fun making the puppets and learning new things.

READ Poster Competition Quiz Winners
10 March 2016
Last year in Term 4, we had a READ Poster Competition opened to all levels from P1 to P6. The response was overwhelming and we received alot of submissions by our girls! The posters are displayed in our library, come and have a look when you're free during your recess or after school! This year in Term 1, we decided to have a quiz based on the winning READ posters. The girls had to read carefully at the posters and answer our quiz, is that easy!
