        It is an interesting story about this boy who goes to stay with his grandmother in Norway as his parents had died in a car crash.

         She tells him stories about witches, who have claws instead of finger nails, bald heads, large nose holes, square feet, and blue spit. The grandmother tells her grandson that all the stories are true and that he must be on the lookout for witches, who loathe children.

         The boy's grandmother then falls sick and both of them are forced to go to a hotel on the coast of England to improve her health. 

         At this hotel, he founds out that witches, disguised as women are holding a great witches gathering with their all-powerful leader, the Grand High Witch, where they plan how to wipe out and eat ALL the children in the world!

         The boy was turned into a mouse by the witches but he manged to escape their clutches. He managed to find his grandmother with much difficulty and told her what had happened to him. 

          Many other things happened along the way so borrow this book to find out the ending! A book that you cannot possibly put down.
